Back up, sorry about that. In truth the Space doesn't have reserved TPUs anymore, only preemptible, so it could be subject to going down without notice. I'll put in a request for more reserved TPU time
I use Const-Me to transcribe locally, and generally a 30-minute video would take 5 minutes to transcribe on my 3GB slow GPU with Medium.en model, but punctuation are never good compared to any videos transcribed here even though the transcriptions are the same. I wonder why.
What's the code you're using to transcribe?
I use the built-in feature in Subtitle Edit to transcribe. I'm not tech-savvy, so I don't know the inner workings.
In fact, I did ask the developer to add WhisperJAX interface in Subtitle Edit, but they couldn't as there's no simple Windows command line version. If you could make a Windows version (which doesn't need Linux environment), we'll add it to Subtitle Edit and most guys will prefer this over Const-Me as it's faster.
The whisper is now showing error message again
