On certain videos with perfectly discernable speech without much background noise seemingly at random but still consistently after retries I get output that contains gibberish in foreign characters, sometimes Japanese, Korean, the undefined (?) unicode character, but mostly Russian. Usually nonsense repeating over and over, and there's less of it the smaller the model, but it's usually still there. Any tips?
A bit late but anyway: About the repetitions, I experienced a similiar result in longer videos. I got a few good hints on the OpenAI Discord server. Mods are thinking about adding a section for Whisper as well. Until then you can find users and exchange with them via the search on that Discord there.
